Personalities againt the Coup
There were numerous personalities many who rose up to say NO to the Coup d'Etat against constitutionality perpetrated on August 6, 2008 by the coup leader General Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz.
The General putsch maker committed his misdeed in retaliation for his dismissal by the President freely and fairly elected by Mauritanians, and constitutionally the commander in Chief of Army. President Sidi Ould Cheikh Abdallahi had dismissed the General coup leader along with 3 other senior officers namely: General Felix NEGRI, General Mohamed Ould Elghazouani and Colonel Mohamed Ould Bekrine.
